There is AI everywhere, and there are a lot of complaints from celebrities that don’t use AI for the wrong purpose but this time on social media a set of AI-generated photos showing Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal posing with a “newborn baby” started circling across social media.
The images look soft and picture-perfect, as AI’s are doing better and better day by day. Katrina cradling a baby wrapped in a pastel blanket, Vicky smiling like the classic new dad. And for a few seconds, a lot of people really did think the couple had quietly welcomed a child.

Of course, the photos aren’t real. Fans later pointed out the small and too smooth skin, the oddly perfect lighting, and those tiny AI generated hands have been spotted by fans. But by then, the pictures had already traveled everywhere and gone viral.
On X and Instagram, fans reacted with a mix of amusement and confusion. Some congratulated the couple before realizing it was an AI art image. Others joked about how believable these edits are getting better and better and it has become very difficult for the human eye to decide which is real and which is fake.
Katrina and Vicky haven’t reacted to the viral images, and knowing how private they both are, they probably won’t. Still, the whole episode shows how quickly AI photos can blur lines online, especially when it involves celebrities people adore.
For now, the pictures remain just that AI fantasy dressed up like a family portrait. But they definitely gave social media something to talk about today.
